I would like to know if there is a way to remove the phone number that is listed on my 7250 when I go to the phone menu? Reason being I will be giving this device to someone else, and I would like to remove the phone number to avoid confusion. I do know that it gets removed when another number is requested or ported, but I was wondering if there is a way to due it upfront. thanks!

I asked Verizon but they said it could not be removed. Has anyone else had any luck doing this?

there is no "luck" involved. The phone number will be changed when the new user arranges for service with Verizon.
