Hi all,

I got a problem when trying to install ringtones on my BB 7290.
I dont find precise explainations...

I got a .adp files, but I dont know how to use it.
I tried to put it on this wap website Coolservice.dk and to download it, but when I do it on my phone, it does not download a file, but instead it shows a page with many characters on it...
I also tried so send it to me as an email. I receive it in my phone, but I cannot use the attached piece.

Any idea?

The 7290 isn't compatible with .adp ringtones. It's compatible only with .mid (MIDI) ringtones.

When you're looking for MIDI ringtones, it's best to stick with monophonic (as opposed to polyphonic) ringtones. Some polyphonic ones will work if the melody is placed in the first track. Otherwise, they won't work at all with a 7290.
