I need help!! I just got my first blackberry 7280 in mail today and it is in good shape. Got it off of Ebay. But anyway the battery was already fully charged when i put my sim in and the backlight is so dim i can hardly read the screen. Can someone PLEASE tell me how i can brighten the backlight?

To adjust

Device Options>Srcreen/Keyboard>Backlight Brightness (make selection) Click the trackwheel and save.

Althought I have heard these devices are terrible for outdoor reading. Good Luck!

Unfortunately, that won't work on the 7280. My old 7290 just died (escape key gave up the ghost) and I am temporarily using a 7280 while my new 88xx unit is delivered. Only one stage of brightness (dimness?) on the 7280 that I can find.
