Default initialization failed error - 09-26-2007, 02:01 AM

I just bought the 7230. After I put my sim card in it at the top of the screen it says "Initialization Failed". I can't make any calls but I can but I can get into the phones other features. The phone is locked to T Mobile and I'm using a T Mobile sim card. What does this mean? What should I do?

Not seen that error before, but sounds like a SIM issue, I would try removing the SIM card, give it a wipe and put it back in again. It might just not be sitting right.

This is a hardware issue. Even you reload the OS, this problem will not go away. You should contact the seller for help.
