so I've been 100% happy with my 8100 up until today. For some unknown reason my SMS messages are not getting sent out and when I do get a text message... the phone will make an audio noise indicating so... however nothing will be displayed in the message folder.

I use my phone for personal and for work and I often times get updates through text format for work..

Anybody else had this problem and/or could tell me what is going on?


T-Mobile says everything is fine on their end and when sending me a test message... it beeps as mentioned previously... just nothing shows.

I can't get a warranty replacement because it's an unlocked Cingular phone that I'm using on a T-Mo network... any thoughts?

Try pulling the battery if you haven't. Also, you may try wiping the device and reloading the latest OS version on the device. You can check the top of this forum for the latest handheld OS and the instructions.

might be a firewall blocking it. try options security options and check the forewall settings.
