Its been a while so I thought I'd see if anyone has heard anything new on the a2dp subject?

I gave up. Can't believe we've been talking about something so basic for so long and RIM has provided the update. Especially since their marketing of the phone clearly stated that listening to music through BT was a feature.

I feel like it has to be coming since the 8130 supports it. I can't imagine the hardware is that different... Or would RIM just screw with us like that?

Ya its high time we get a fix for this. Someone should post a link to rims email and well all send em a message at once. And maybe well get a fix for this. They say the squeakiest wheel gets the oil so if we're all squeak at once maybe they'll here is lol. Can't hurt right so someone should post up a link fer the email addy for rims tech support er somethin.
And can't somebody pick apart an OS from a new phone with it and get it to work with the pearl ? Just throwin out sudjestions. I dunno its doesn't seem to be that hard a thing to do or maybe I'm wrong I dunno.

is a good email address for RIM although I don't think you'll find them very helpful. I emailed them asking when a2dp support would be added to the pearl and got this reply:

Well pony up people and start emailin. If we big em enough and they get 50 to 100 plus emails at once they'll at least have to eggknoledge that there's a need to be looked at here. Can't hurt right?
