Default vibrate and ring together?

Please Login to Remove!

hey everyone, I'm a new blackberry user, just got my pearl yesterday. I was just wondering if there is a way to make it vibrate and ring at the same time? Because all I can get mine to do is vibrate first and then ring, and I keep missing my calls! any help would be great, thanks!

Nope, it's not possible with this model. A real annoyance as I miss calls, but you learn to live with it. I have set it to vibrate twice and then start ringing which is as good as it gets.

Actually, it is not possible on *any* BlackBerry to get it to vibrate and ring at the same time.

Not sure this is a problem, I find it more of a feature. There are many many times I can act on that first vibrate and not bother myself or others with the noise of a ringtone. I miss the vibrate then ring BB feature when I'm using other devices. Remember the BB was built for business, many years of research and development have gotten the BB to the great industry leading device it is today.

Default There is a way

All you have to do is go to: the part to where you can set your Vibrate, ring, slient, etc. Scroll down to the bottom and there will be advanced.......
click on it. Then click the meun button and there will be edit. Scroll down to phone and click on it. Click the firsts thing and set it to what ever you want it to be. Then do that to the rest of them.

In my opinion: you have set BB vibrate twive then start ring tone that is the best way.
