My Pearl is not working ! when i turn it on , it start to turn off and on until the battry finish !

You also may need to wipe the device to see if that works. I am mobile and don't have the link for it, but search BlackBerryFAQ.com for instructions on how to connect to the BlackBerry and wipe the device using JL_Cmder.

thnx for ur replay ,, i tried with JL_cmder ! but not working ! the phone only turn on for 5 secondes ! is there any other ways to wipe it !!

nop , the proplem is that the BB , when is start it's just show the scroll going up and down for 5 seconds or less and it turn off again !!

i have the same problem..i try to wipe it too..didn't help, the only thing i haven't tried yet was changing battery to see if thats the problem..let me know if you fixed the problem as i will do the same if i do

i have one question about the wipe with jl_cmder
how long does it take? because when i did the wipe(which i'm assuming delete) it does it like in a second and then it says 507 error.

That is what it should say after you remove the OS. Now you can reload the OS.

ok..then i did it right...i reloaded the os..still same problem, however, when its plugged in, it works perfectly....wierd!
also, with jl_cmder, i find it kindda wierd how fast it takes to wipe the/format the os, i thought it would be like 20 mins
