i just got my BB Pearl.
I would like to know if i can watch t.v.shows and movies on the pearl,
sort of like on the iPhone.

The answer is yes, but with limits.
Try reading over some of the Sticky Notes at the top of this Media section of this forum:

thanks, i've been having a hard time deciding whether to get the Pearl or iPhone.
But now that I know I can watch movies on the Pearl, I'm sold!
