hi,
i bought a pearl from the US in april. im in india rite now n i cant access da net. Can anyone please call T-mobile customer care and find my unlock code. IM in india and there is no way i can contact T-mobile from here.

You can call TMobile from India. Absolutely.

OR, you will need to purchase an unlock code from a vendor.

hi JSanders,
i checked ur bbfaq coloum and checked my phone. Everything in the sim card menu is disabled.im guessin the phone is unlocked then.But i went and checked wit the indian carriers. None of them are able to configure it. Is there anything i can do..??

Yes, get a Data Plan from your carrier.

Set the APN settings.
What are the TCP and APN settings? - BlackBerryFAQ

That is all you can do. There is nothing more. If those things don't work, I don't know what else might help.

can i use my blackberry with normal gprs...is it compulsary tat i have to activate BES..??

You can get a BIS plan you do not need BES....

How do i get a BIS plan for airtel in india. Im a prepaid user. The customer care is useless. they aren able to help me at all...
