Default address book issue - am I stupid?

Please Login to Remove!

So here goes... today someone sent me a voicemail that went straight to vmail without any call alert or anything. Problem is I do not know who called me. Sooo, in voicemail I use the callback option which then gives me the number of the person who called.

Now, I want to search for that number in my address book to see who the heck it was and if they are even in my address book yet I can only search by names.

How in the heck do I search for numbers!? This has also happened before where a friend will get a strange call and ask if I knew who it was... well, without going through every single contact and viewing the number I have found no other way.

Anyone?

What I do is briefly dial the number and if it is in my address book then the name will be displayed while placing the call.

Well that one works, but then it will also call the person as well which I would rather not do...

Just preface it will *67 before dialing. I think it will still find it in your address book and will block your number if it does connect.
