i dont know how but i was playing music and someone called and when i picked up it was playing music while i was talking on the phone

never been able to do that, why don't you try to duplicate it ?

Yep, welcome to the Forums. Honestly, I don't think that is possible or it was a glitch at the time.

Was both the music and the phone call coming through the speaker or earphones at the time?

yes it was coming out of the same speaker

I can't stay focused on a phone call let alone have music playing with the caller.

That happen to me like twice, I thinks is was just a malfunction...

But u can do it on the curve.

Playing music while on a call is a glitch, this isn't suppose to happen.

I've found having the head set slide in and out of the jack while playing music can cause this to happen.

Having the call interrupt your music, pausing it, is just a matter of someone calling you. I think this is more desirable as I don't want the music interfering with my call. Now as for making a call while music is playing and have the music pause is a matter of hitting the hangup button and returning to your desktop. The music will still play leaving your bb open to select other apps to run on top of your music and any other maps. (I find this useful when using things like IRC over SSH, AIM, and google maps all at once.)

i don't know why people are saying no but i have done it several times u just download the multiplay software and then you set its option to " play in background and press the hang up button to exit ( red button ) and then you can just make the call....

not worried about it while on the phone, but how can i listen to music through my bluetooth?

use MULTIPLAY! by dollar5 complete and see the options
