Question How to display my phone number?

Please Login to Remove!

I hope this is a simple question. I kept forgeting my cell phone number. Besides writing on sticker and stick it to my cell phone, is there a way to display my cell phone number on the home screen somehow?

It should appear on the Phone Dialer Screen (when you press the green key). If it does NOT, do this.

Phone dial screen > Options > General Options > Show my number = YES.

Question

Thanks for the quick response. Show my number is already set to "Yes". On the Phone Dialer screen it says "Unknown" for "My Phone Number". So why is it showing unknown? What could be the problem? Another thing I noticed is, whenever I unlock my BB, it briefly display my home phone number instead of my cell phone number. So I guess there are two problems here.

Any help is appreciated.

well, always, pulling the battery and rebooting solves many glitch type issues.

second, go to Options > Advanced > SIM CARD and see does it show your number there?

If not, highlight over the "Phone Number" area, and click menu and EDIT SIM PHONE NUMBER.

Add it and save.

Okay, that worked. In the SIM Card, I only see the ID and not Phone number so I added it in and now it dows how in the phone dialer screen.

However, the second question is, just before the phone screen turns black and before it is unlocked, it will display my First Name/Last Name and then my home phone number. Can I get this part to show my cell number instead of my home phone number?

Sounds like you need to adjust your owner information.
Check here on your BlackBerry:
Options > Owner
