im a 12th grade student. I have a pearl. In college i keep my phone on silent mode with vibration so that the teacher dosen't catch me but anytime i msg the phone makes a sound givin the report of the currency left on my account. I asked my service provider if they could stop sending me this report everytime i messaged but they said it was automatic and could not be stopped. Is there anyway i can switch it off by changin soem setting in the phone...??

varunv, that is a type of SMS sent by your carrier, although I think making your SMS silent may not do what you need.

Honestly, put your BB aside during class.

lol....but howcome im facing this problem only wt my BB.....my nokia does not have this problem.

The BB isn't a Nokia. They behave differently.
