hey guys since you guys are the best at this. i can really use your help. today all of the sudden my pearl stopped scrollling up:( it is really a problem. can u guys please suggest something that i can do. i would really appreciate it. thanks alot

The RIM recommended method is the press and roll the trackball firmly in the direction in which it is not rolling.

Often there is lint or dust under the trackball, and this may force it out. There are also some cleaning instructions on the board here disassembly pictures at our FAQ site.

my wife had the same issue..looking thru the forums, if you put your phone in standby mode then push down and scroll in the direction you are having trouble..that should fix it..
