I currently have a N73 nokia and considering a Blackberry.
Wondering if the sync easily with outlook
And most importantly - can they hold 2000+ contacts and growing?

It sure can
I have 5800+ contacts without any issues. I still have 24 meg free too on the pearl. I have also done this with my 8320 and 8800.
