i jus loaded the latest OS 4.2 on my phone. i have activated gprs with my carrier and they keep sending me these msgs with internet links on them and whn i click it goes to the browser and then i get this msg:

your device does not currently have any browser configuration service book entry. Please contact service provider to enable browser on ur device.

im a airtel pre-paid user and airtel does not support blackberry surfing for us.
is there anyway i can manually get the browser configuration and load it myself.

No. You need a BB data plan for the browser on your BB.

You may be able to use the 3rd party browser called Opera Mini. To do so you'll need the apn settings to put in Options >Advanced Options >TCP.

i have installed the beta 3 version of opera also. And i have put the rite settings which i used for my nokia phone. GPRS iz jus not workin on this phone.is there any option in the pearl were i can enter the ip address and port and all that info beacause only the rite apn isin't doing the trick for me.
