Nope; you can't load software from one line onto another. Been tried before.

i noticed little fancier features on it ie more camera options, media player.

You will render the BlackBerry useless and you'll have to use JL_CMDER or Javaloader to manually delete the handheld OS. It's been tried before. 7290 code on a 7230 (different devices). The closest anyone came is putting PART of the 8700 code on an 8707. But the major difference there was CDMA vs. GPRS.
