I did a search and found a thead for 8300 battery life but nothing for the 8100. So my question is .... How long should my Battey last? I got my pearl slightly used and charged my battery Thursday night and it died this morning. I used it a fair amount but not that much. So far I have about half of the battery left, and I have used a lot more than I did yesterday. Any thoughts?

Hows the coverage where you are? lots of factors impact battery life, but one of the biggest offenders is how good / bad your coverage is. Other things such as calls / constant messaging add to it, but poor coverage seems to be #1.

That's prety darn good use, that long. It will vary of course from user to user and according to the applications in use.
You should be topping off your charge whenever you get a chance during the day and charge it at night. Don't continuosly run your charge down to nothing.
Read the FAQ "Maximum Battery Life" for more info.

Good luck.

Ya coverage at my house is shotty I see a lot of struggling for service. I figured that was part of the issue. I usually charge my old cell phone every night. So I am ok with charging when I sleep. I just needed some feedback. Thanks
