Default Can you reset the Pearl?

Please Login to Remove!

I have an8100 Pearl. Is there a way to reset it to its original settings?

Options > Security Options > General Settings > click menu button > Wipe Handheld

What will a reset clear out? Will I have to re-intall the phone's OS? Will it wipe any installed applications?

This wipe described in post #2 is a "wipe" not a reset. Sounds stupid, but there is a different.

The wipe will clear ALL personal data from the BB. Contacts, messages, settings, etc. It will NOT delete Third Party Applications which you have installed. It wil NOT delete the OS.
