Question File free memory

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all, My old pearl had 30###### some odd free file bytes after I followed all the steps to free up memory I found on this site. I recived a new pearl, due to broken battery latch from t-mobile. I did the same steps to free up memory but the most i can get is 11###### some odd bytes. Seems low doesn't it?

Now I have a question. How do you remove unused languages?

By connecting your bb to your computer open up dm and then app loader and uncheck the languages you don't want. I think you can also delete them from the bb not possitive though. And deleting unwanted themes will also free up memory as JC stated here.

OK, I guess I'm already at a minimum as the only items showing are those that I have installed.

Am I missing something? It is a Tmo Pearl.

You need to have the BB os installed on your computer I think to remove the unsued languages.

Yeah I did all that as soon as I got the phone, never looked to see what the free file was before I did it. But I deleted all unused languages and demo vidio.
