Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8130/4.3.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

Did anyone get a skin for the 8130 yet? I contacted Best Skins Ever and they do not have one for the 8130 yet but plan to release one in the future. I know that Shield Zone has one but its a lot more expensive for the same product. I'm not sure if I should wait or get the SheildZone.

I'm waiting for Best Skins, myself...can't justify the difference for Shield Zone, based on comments from someone who's used both of them....

I ordered the one from Shield Zone before I knew anything about Best Skins Ever. It's supposed to be delivered on the 16th. I'll report back once I put it on.

Just buy the DIY skin from BestSkinsEver. They provide you with more than enough material to cover the screen and rear portion of the phone. If you are at all good with scissors, you can cut it up it a few minutes and be done with it.

If you decide to go that route, here's a little tip. Photocopy your phone, the actual phone, then cut it out to use as a template. I've been doing this for that last couple of years and it comes out perfect.

Love the idea of photocopying your phone to make a template...excellent!

So, it arrived today, and I have to say, I'm not that impressed with the Shield Zone. Next time, I'll definitely buy the skin from Best Skins Ever. The side pieces are laughable. You'd have to put tons of solution on it to make it sticky enough to stay, but there're so many holes on the side of the Pearl that I'm afraid the solution would get into them.

Anyway, the front and back pieces fit OK. They're not exactly PRECISELY cut, but they'll do. I would not pay $25 for them again. Just my 2 cents.
