Default I'm sick of suretyping!

Please Login to Remove!

I ve had the phone for about 6 months, I'm so sick of it now. I need a full size keyboard, even if i have to deal with a slightly bigger phone.
It got to the point that I wait to get on my computer to write emails now.

Come over to the wonderful world of the Curve. The size of the 8320 is not that much bigger and it has that glorious full QWERTY keypad. I will welcome you with a member's jacket.

Member's jacket?

kiss-up. I don't get no stinkin' jacket.

The 8300 would be a good BB for upgrade for them, though.

How can you not LOOOOOVVVVEEE SureType?? I did! I could type faster with SureType than I can with a full keyboard. But to each his (or her) own.

I'm sure someone along the way told you to not look at the screen when you're typing - to just press the keys you need to spell the word and then look after you've typed all the letters (or phrase/sentence)....right?

Yep...those who "can't stand" suretype usually never figured out how to properly use suretype. I'm with Juwaack--I can type faster on a SureType (with fewer errors, I might add) than I can on a full Qwerty keyboard (and I could do it one-handed.)

I can certainly understand one preferring a full keyboard, though.

I think it's a Starter Jacket. With matching shoes. I'm still holding out for jewelry.

SureType is the way to go for me...and I REALLY didn't like the keyboard layout of the 8800 series phone. I might be down with the Curve...but I really enjoy the Pearl's size, layout, and features.

To each his own...but my money's with the Pearl and SureType!

quick question....i was playing with the verizon pearl and noticed the keyboard seemed to be slightly different then the tmo 8100. for me, it was harder to type, but then again, i was only playing with it for 5 mins. does anyone else notice the difference between the 2 suretype keyboards? verizon's keys are slightly raised.

You can change input languages easily. It supports many languages and they can be switched any time you want.

Typing on the Pearl is so much easier than on my 8800. I make too many mistakes on the full keyboard because the keys are so small. I may give the 8310 a try but I love the size of the Pearl.
