Default media card trouble

Please Login to Remove!

Hello I am having a bit of trouble with my memory card. I had to reset my phone today after deleting an application, as soon as the phone rebooted it stopped reading my media card. I have tried to reset by pulling the battery, and I have tried to play around with the card itself. Any help us greatly appreciated. Thank you

Welcome to the forums.

It's not, by chance, plugged into the PC at the moment, is it?

Thank you for the welcome, and no it is not plugged into the computer right now. I wonder if the card might be bad or if it is the phone? Thanks again.

Do you recall seeing a screen on the Pearl asking "Do you want to turn on Mass Storage Mode? You might not be able to access some media files in this mode. (Yes / No) and a checkbox which toggles "Don't ask again"."

I get worried about this sometimes -simply because if I selected No and that box was checked -how would I re-initialize the Mass Storage Mode?

Not sure if this would be related -but possibly.
Do you have multiple machines or a way to check the USB?

One more thing:

check Options > Advanced > Media Card and look through the information there. Is Media Card Support 'ON'?
