I'm new to BlackBerry Forums, and I had a question about the BB Alerts application for my blackberry Pearl. I downloaded it and have the application on, but for some reason the LED colors are still all in Red even though I changed them.

Under "Programs Controls LED" in the BB Alerts Options I have it set to "both" meaning the trackball and status.

I figure there must be some wrong setting for this not to be working for me. Anyone have any ideas on how to get my program to work correctly?

EDIT: after researching some more and messing around with my Pearl. I finally got it up and running. Thanks anyways

Now you know the rule is, if you post and then figure it out, post your solution so others can benefit from it when searching for info here.

Hehe sorry I'm new to Blackberry forums, but I'll try to explain.

I found this solution from someone else here on the forums but I forget where.
I went to Option>Advanced Option>Application>BlackBerry Alerts>Menu, Edit Permissions> Expand the Connection and under Phone set it to Allow.
After that I did a soft reset, and the application worked perfectly. It takes a lot of messing around with the application and it was a little frustrating but worth it
