Default 8100 fails to download all of address book

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Range Rover Sport and using bluetooth and a Nokia 6230i I can download the address book (399 entries) to the car. My Blackberry 8100 won't do it. It downloads about 75% of entries.

Is there a timeout in the Blackberry or some other limitation? My SIM has zero entries.

Max, welcome to the BBForums.

My advice would be to check your Address Book for anything odd. Can you sync through Desktop Manager to Outlook? You might see if there are any errors there: Errors syncing the BB with Desktop Manager - BlackBerryFAQ

and then that might clear it up to transfer to your RR.

Good luck.

I fixed this issue with my Parrot unit by deleting all of the groups that show up in the contact list.

If you need to keep your groups, then you could rename them to have an underscore before the name of said group in order to force them to be at the bottom of your list.

Hope this helps!

No Groups in my Address Book I'm afraid. It is related to the number of entries not the particular entry ie I can reduce the no. of entries and download the entire Address book. Not the point of course.

No errors in the log.
