Guys,

Frequently, my Blackberry device 'freezes' and displays an icon similar to the one below. In order to reset the device, I need to remove the battery (it may require this a number of times before getting going again).

Have you had any similar reports?

Sounds like you have a bad battery and it's time to buy a new one.
They don't last forever.

What model device? How old? Has it ever gotten wet?

hey cheers for the response. its a pearl 8100, have had it for 5 months and never got water in it!

I have one of the first T-Mo Pearls (Sept 06) and still haven't come across that condition. Good luck!
