My girlfriend and I both have pearls with the blackberry internet plan. The web browsing speed is definitely sufficient for our needs. If you are using the stock BB browser, the speeds are slow due to the browser, but Opera Mini 4 is extremely fast. It's not something you'd necessarily use as your primary internet connection, but definitely is fast enough for the internet in the palm of your hand.

I have the T Mobile Curve with the BB BIS add on, so I have unlimited internet. My wife has the Pearl with BB unlimited e-mail. She has the internet icon on her phone and can connect. Does she get charged minutes, or by MB for that? where would this show up on our bill?
