I have some notes I want to save and carry with me on the Pearl. I have them in MS outlook but they do not sync to the Pearl. Is there a program for notes or tasks. Thanks. and I have searched..

If you have Outlook on the PC it will sync notes and tasks between the handheld and your PC.

No way to do word documents unless you purchase third party software like e-office.

Ditto the above. In addition, do you have desk top manager installed? Have you configured the sync module for use with Outlook?

Thats what I thought. But where are they. When I sync, I am showing the notes and task to go also. Where are they on the Pearl? Am I over looking them?

On your blackberry, it may be called memo pad.

Additionally, if you don't see anything at all resembling notes, make sure you haven't hidden it by accident.

If you have hidden it, open the application list and hit Menu>Show all.

I am using Pearl 8100. Desktop software 4.2.2 or 4.3. can't remember now. Outlook 7. It shows note and tasks (and I have notes) to be synced. And on sync screen I have both to sync and no errors when I sync. (I think)

I go to Advanced,Apps and there is no MENU to show all. I think?? I have looked at all menus and nothing looking like note, task, pad..

So, N4BYU, when, on the blackberry, you open options, advanced options, applications, and scroll through, you don't see memo pad?

Added: If it's not there, resinstall using application loader from desktop manager. You'll need to also have the handheld software installed, if you haven't done that already.

I'm going on the assumption memo pad is not on your blackberry because you don't have the icon, it is not hidden, and it does not show up in applications in options.

If you have desktop manager installed and you've installed the handheld software on your computer, connect the blackberry and launch the application loader module from desktop manager. Click next. In the window, is memo pad unchecked? If so check it, then click next and follow directions provided by application loader application to reinstall memo pad.
