in these days, my Pearl switch-off automatically and I do not know why it is like that.

First, while your BB is powered on, remove the back cover and the battery for 30 seconds, and replace the battery to reboot the device. That may help clear it up some.

What OS version are you using? Look at Options > About. The line starts with a "v.4."

Also, does it happen at a specific time of day? I wonder if the Auto On/Off setting is turned on.

You can check auto on/off settings under Options.

Also, if the above does not resolve the issue. When you say switching off is the BlackBerry powering down or just the radio switching off?
