Would a blackberry data plan from t-mobile ( get service books etc) work with my pearl? even though its a 8100c from AT&T, its unlocked

On the flip side, I got my T-mobile Blackberry unlocked and I signed up for an ATT data plan, but I am not getting the data signal. Anyone have any ideas?

did you sign up for a regular data plan or a BB data plan. Are you getting only GSM or edge or GPRS

I'm starting to feel real dumb going through this, but I got the data to work somewhat (the Data Services wasn't turned on under Options). I can't browse any websites. Do I need to update the software on my Blackberry?

I get emails just fine, but when I try to surf the web, I get an error message: "Unable to connect to the selected Mobile Data Service, please try again later. If the problem persists please contact your administrator." Any ideas?
