Default Wrong message - my disk wasn't full !

Please Login to Remove!

After activating Mass Storage on my BlackBerry Pearl and connecting it to my PC with a USB cable, I went to Photo Import and created a new folder in My Pictures, which is a Watched folder. JPGs started transferring from the IGB memory card on my Pearl to the new folder on my hard drive. The hard disk has a 149 GB capacity with 65% Free Space. After about 200 files transferred I got a message saying Disk Full.

Why would Media Manager think my hard disk was full? Could it be the buffer was full? What should I do

How can I select which pictures to transfer?

If you activted mass storage for the card on the pearl then you're not supposed to use Media Manager to transfer photos to and from the card to the pc, you're supposed to use Windows and drag and drop. You plug in the pearl, don't open Desktop Manager/Media Manager. In the Windows window that opens when you plug the pearl in choose Open Folders to View, then open the Blackberry folder, the Pictures to see the thumbnails. Then you drag from the pearl to the folder in Windows, wherever that is. Do the reverse to add pix to the pearl. Media Manager is really slow transferring stuff, that's why most of us don't use it, we unable mass storage mode instead. Hope this helps. I havent had any problems doing this myself.

I followed your advice, dragged and dropped worked fine.

Thank you.
