Default Upgrade to a 8120 - Problems

I've just upgrade my Pearl to the 8120, and after loading on the desktop mamager v4.3 it now comes up with the error box asking if i want to report this to Microsoft. What ever i click closes the desktop manager down.
I've tried to load desktop mamager v4.2 but that does not work as my phone can't be found by the software.
I've also tried to load on the colour pearl soft ware, but got nowhere, but from what i've read it would not have worked anyway on a 8120.

Can anyone help me, please

Not sure why your PC is shutting down DM. I can confirm that DM 4.2 will work with a 4.3 Pearl. I've used DM 4.2 with a Pearl running OS 4.3.1. So the DM 4.2 is compatible but not sure why yours won't recognize the device.

ColorPearl will not work on any device except for the 8100 and even then only on 8100's running 4.2 OS. It won't work on a Pearl running 4.3.

Hello John,
Thank you for getting back to me.
Could i then use O.S 4.3.1 and DM 4.2 on my 8120, or will the colour pearl only work on a 8100?

Also, i've now loaded my DM 4.3 and have conected by 8120, but i can sync my MS Outlook to the phone, as after being told that i've configured ok, i then get a runtime error box, show that 'cannot find system in table file'
I'm trying to sync my address book and calender.

Any ideas
