Check out eBay and there are lots of specials during the holidays. Remmber with an 8100 and the latest OS you can only goto 4GB.

Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more! and even Amazon have 2gig MicroSD cards for under $20, a steal considering the Best Buy wants $50+.

For the 4 gig you're still going to pay quite a bit though.

if you have the Verizon Wireless Blackberry Pearl you can go to Cell Phones, Cell Phone Plans, Cell Phone Accessories - Verizon Wireless and get the 1, 2, 4, 6, or 8gb card. The Verizon Pearl is the only one that can take up to an 8GB card

I have the sandisk media card for my 8100 Pearl, I believe they are reasonably priced, approx. $20 for 1GB. Works for me

I just bought a 1 GB as well on Monday--have you had yours long enough to put a lot of media on it? I'm curious as to how much it will actually hold in pictures, etc.

Can I use an 8GB card with Telus's 8130 or am I stuck with a 4GB card?

The 8130 (regardless of carrier) supports up to 8GB.
