am i asking to much of this little wonder, do i need to go to the 8800...i need the trackball cant live without it anymore...anything????
guess i need to get a phone that has windows mobile ??
trade the trackball for streaming video ....video its not looking good for you.
with all the people wanting streaming video rim has got to be looking in to it
last night after writing this i went to RIM and emailed them this
Ive had my 8100 for about two weeks now and ...one word...amazing...the only thing i cant do with it is to watch streaming video from the web. i understand (from extensively searching the web) that none of the BB's have this capability. is that correct?? and with technology the way its going (zooming right along) is the development team working on this ??there is quite a lot of people who would love to see this . i want streaming video but not at the coast of losing my new found friend ( the track ball)
thank you for your time
I agree streaming video is a much desired feature for todays phone users. However, you have to keep in mind many carriers do not want users streaming data unless they are directly paying the carrier for that privilege.
Free streaming = bad for carriers. Therefore, manufacturers are less inclined to include the ability if they want carriers to sell their phones.
There has been talk of a streaming video fix on the carrier side for Verizon that was supposed to roll out today (11/26). Wasn't clear if it was a WM fix only, or for all their phones....
