I use gmail. I have set up my gmail account through the blackberry, and when I sent an e-mail using gmail on my blackberry, i get the email copied to my self. is their anyway to stop this? its pretty frustrating when i send an e-mail 10 seconds later i get a little chime and i have that same email in my inbox.

I had the same problem until I found this thread. Worked like a champ!

HOW-TO: Prevent G-mail "Sent Items" from being sent to your handheld.

hi... this is my first post in this forum, and you will probably find it quite stupid, but in my opinion gmail via browser works better than the app google provides.

This is a great fix but I think the real problem lies in a Gmail setting. I had this same issue and can't remember how I fixed it but I know it was a gmail setting... Sorry but I will research it and post it here....
