Default Struggling with Opera Mini on 8130; Please help

Please Login to Remove!

Hey everybody; I'm new at this whole blackberry thing so here it goes. I got an 8130 from Telus and want to put opera mini on it. I want to be able to transfer the file from my pc to the blackberry using USB. I downloaded the desktop manager V2 SP2 in order to transfer data. I then downloaded the opera mini file from their webpage and now the zipped file sits on my desktop. I then click that file to unzip it and two files come out; operette-hifi-us.alx and operette-hifi-us.cod. From here I really don't know what to do, don't know if I even unzipped it right.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated as I am really confused and gearing towards frustration.

Thanks,

It's easier to load it over the air.

Otherwise, you'll need to download and install the device software. It is a sticky at the top of the forum. Once you load the device software you can load the application loader from desktop manager and point it to the .alx file. The alx file will NOT load unless you have downloaded and installed the device software on your pc.

Version 4 works for me but I still hate it. Still haven't figured out what is so nice about it. I can browse so much faster on the blackberry browser.
