Default Blackberry UK Repair and service centre

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

Can anyone tell me where the hell i can get a Blackberry repaired under warranty in the UK, Have spoken to Orange they said that they would replace it had been under six months old but after that the manaufacturer would carry out any warranty work, so i spoke to Rim who, to be honest were about as much use as a chocolate teapot and they said it would be Orange that should do it. which is a load of rubbish.

I'm losing the will to live now so if anyone has any ideas they would be greatly appriciated

Orange should be taking care of you for that...or at least guide you step by step, especially if your still under contract with them

As Cellunlocker says, unfortunately RIM do not offer a manufacturer warranty as far as I'm aware off. Devices are sold under the normal sales of good act which is covered by the retailer not the manufacturer!

Agreed, I would have thought the carrier should take care of this. It's an interesting question, though, as I would be interested to know what the score is for warranty returns for unlocked phones purchased from a retailer without a contract.

I can totally relate to this problem!

As a mobile recycler of Blackberry units we have the same problem with 8 series units. We have units that are in need of repair and we also use to buy
network returns of Blackberry units. i did hear that Regenisis had won the service contract on this but after contacting them just now that is un confirmed. I will look into it further and keep this site updated if i find out anything.

Default Repair Centre Locations

Hi,

We do repairs for some carriers (Non Warranty)

At the moment, RIM does not have any "Authorized" repair centres anywhere.

The carrier is responsible for any repairs when the device is still under warranty.

Thanks,
