Default Pearl 8130 - Easy way to wipe out Calendar and start over?

Hi everyone,

Got my new VZW Pearl and love it overall. The only real issue I am having is when I sync my calendar. I am getting a lot of duplicates on the device when I perform the sync operation.

I have tried several different settings in the Configuration screen. Most recently I tried the "Replace all data in the target application" check box thinking that it would simply replace everything each time with a clean copy of whatever I had in Outlook. Apparently that is not the case.

Is there a way I can simply wipe out all of the Calendar data that currently resides on my Pearl and then re-sync it so that I don't have all of these duplicates?

I don't have the desktop on which it is set up in front of me, but with Desktop Manager 4.3 (and maybe earlier versions) you can wipe the calendar using the Backup utility. Click on backup utility and you should have a choice to "Manage Databases" or something similar. One option in there is to delete all entries in a DB. You can use this to clear your calendar DB on the BB and then do a fresh sync. Just did it myself last night.

Sorry I can't be more specific on selecting options, but like I said I'm not at the right PC.
