Doesn't 4.3 install Roxio Media Manager as a separate app on the Start menu?

When I installed 4.3, it installed Roxio just fine. There wasn't any need to install any other version first...

That said, I think folks are having more luck overall with 4.2 than 4.3, especially if you want to sync with Outlook.

4.2 SP1 - Pre-Roxio media manager...simpler, probably more reliable media transfer tool

4.2 SP2 - Believe this is the first release w/Roxio

Just enable mass storage and drag / drop the pictures off of your card to your PC. This is a lot faster than the media mgr. anyway

Do you have a memory card in the phone? I don't know for sure, but I don't think the computer assigns a drive letter unless you do. If this is the case, you could Email the pics to your PC.

windows seems to automatically assign a drive letter, but will it work without a microsd?

I don't think so. Windows identifies the SD card as a "mass storage device" and assigns a drive letter, but if there is not one in the phone - I don't think it does - could be wrong though!!
