Default Lost my home screen previews

Please Login to Remove!

Hello forum!

I searching for this, but couldn't find it anywhere. I seem to have lost my home screen previews on the Today theme that is loaded on my 8130 for both my calendar and messages.

Any ideas?

Welcome to the forums.

Did you try removing the battery and reinserting? This fixes many strange issues that come up now and then on the BB.

Thanks -- that worked. I just upgraded from the ever-quirky Moto Q, and I'm hoping that this isn't equally as quirky.

Should the Today theme show previews of already-read messages?

I believe it just shows new messages.

Well, now I am always showing my calendar entries, but when I get a new message, it simply says "1 new message." No preview or anything. I'm being vague, I know.

I know what you are saying. It should show a preview of the message. Try changing to a different theme, and then back to the original theme.

That works, but the next message I get, back to no preview. This thing's brand new, so there shouldn't be any tweaks I made that would interfere.

I haven't used the today theme in quite some time. However, I seem to remember that the message didn't always show up right away.
