Default Bluetooth Shuts Off Automatically

Please Login to Remove!

Just purchased the 8130 after owning a 7250 for two years.

I have noticed one issue. I have paired a Sony HBH-GV435 bluetooth ear piece with my phone. It works fine, however, for some reason or other when the ear piece is "active" it will work for awhile, then automatically disconnects and the bluetooth is deactivated on my phone and I have to start all over again.

Also, when I activate the ear piece, voice-dialing starts automatically which I don't want it to do.

Any thoughts?

Thanks, Jim

The BT disconnect is a known issue that has been reported...you might try the OS upgrade to see if that helps (see the link at the top of the page referring to the Telus OS release).
