Default Bluetooth issues

Ok so I am having a bit of a problem lately

I am unable to send any type of file to another blackberry pearl on T-Mobiles network.

I can connect to the device, it shows we are paired, but when I try to send the file (i.e., ringtone, picture) it just says "failure to find service"

I tried sending to a generic Cricket Nokia phone and it works just fine. (cricket is a cellphone company in my area that is basically a cell that can only be used around town - extremely cheap)

I have spoken with T-Mobile about this and they haven't been able to help, other than to tell me (and the girl I spoke with doesn't seem too bright) that it may be an issue with the newest OS I have. I have the 4.2.1.107 and so does my friend with her pearl.

Does anyone have any idea how I may be able to fix this issue?

Thanks in advance

P.S. This feature used to work flawlessly before I upgraded to the new OS ut I haven't used bluetooth in about 4 months so it could have been a problem before as well.

Have you tried a battery pull and also has the person you are sending to? Also I know its basic but the other BB users is in the media app and choosing Receive File via Bluetooth?

I do a hard reset at least 3 times a week to keep my memory full. And for some reason I didn't think to do the receive using bluetooth thing on her phone. Thanks for that imput I will try that with her tonight.
