Default VZ 8130 Speakerphone vs. DTMF Key Volume

Please Login to Remove!

Has anyone encountered, while using the speaker phone (during a phone call or retrieving VM), the DTMF key tone loudness does NOT track with the set speaker phone volume? The key tones are a lot louder.

Are there independent volume controls?

I am a 8130 VZW customer running OS 4.3.0.65 (Telus Mobility).

I'll have to check that out. However, have you noticed you speaker phone volume is really low? I notice when I drive I can barely hear the dang thing yet if I play music it's really loud. I have latest OS as well...on Verizon.

Mine is quite loud, to me. I'm driving windows up in a BMW, so it's relatively quiet, but not that quiet. I'm very happy w/the speaker volume when playing music so far.

I have not really noticed low speaker phone volume, albeit I have not been in a noisy situation to test it
