Default Call log questions, two address book entries

Please Login to Remove!

have some questions:

1. in the call log application i cant work out how its organized. on first open it shows my address book above the cursor and some numbers below the cursor. how is it organized ?

2. i just started using the pearl and even though i have a persons phone number in my address book it doesnt show their name (rather the number) in the text (sms) messages so i have to save both the numbers beginning with + and those beginning with the usual 040x (australian numbers are 04xx-xxx-xxx).

On your first question, in the 'Call Log', go to 'Options', then 'General Options'. You can change the view on 'Phone List View'. I personally like the 'Call Log' view.

Sorry but I'm not sure about question 2.

Phone Log is much better thank you!!!

My second question:

in the messages view (txt messages - not email) it seems like numbers are not recognised sometimes so i have to enter both formats into the address book or else it will display the persons number not their address book name.
