How do you send a picture as a text or SMS message? The only options are to send it as a MMS message or email? I have VZW if it makes a difference.

You don't send pictures as a text, it becomes an MMS.

I just tried it twice and it wouldn't go through. I got a red "X" in my message window both times.

I'm trying to send it to another VZW customer that has a new Samsung phone with pic messaging enabled.

Do YOU have a pic messaging plan?

Call Verizon they probably don't have it provisioned on your acccount, the same thing happened to me the other day.
