Hi All, This is a fantastic Forum and I love it to bits. Does anyone know how to help me with a problem on my BB which is..

As I use my BB a lot outside of the office, as is the point of a BB, I do add a lot of contacts to the address book on the BB. But my lotus notes address book does not reflect what the address book on the BB is. It just will not sync/update from the BB to notes.
I have tried wirelessly and using DM..to no avail.
My DM is all pointing to the correct Notes ini and Names.nsf etc everything else is working just fine. Help and suggestion would be most welcome and I promise not to bug you...with smart comments or silly questions.

I think synching BB address book with notes addressbook requires an extra step, and does not work automatically Can't swear to, but think you have to go to Notes on your computer and go to Actions, synch address book.

I'm afraid I can't remember exactly what the steps are, but someone around here doubtless does.

In Notes you are right ..open mailbox go to ..menu bar and select ..Action and the Select ..Syn Address book.

Unfortunatley this does not solve the issue yet but Thanks will keep you posted as soon as I get a solution..Thanks you

What is the address book option set to?
One or two way sync?

as in...
Device to LNotes
Lnotes to device

or Bothways? ( Should be set this way)

I know i know stinky question, ButI had to ask.

Also, How is LNOTES setup to allow Address book contacts wirelessly please?

In DTM it is both ways...check in Config Syn..Address book
In LNotes..Actions.. syncronise does not offers any options to check or change how this is done..but the whole thing is registered on A bes server and all works fine in that respect...nor sure if |I have done the check correctly as you have asked sorry

Why?

Our shop cant wirelessly sync address boks against BB's ( An inherited Domino issue)

But some Bberrys default to wirelessly update on the Handheld.

Obviously this causes issue.

Typically DTM will tell you about this when you go to sync.

I have been successfull with having my Blackberry Address book synchronise with Lotus Notes 6.5
How...
I checked again all the setting in the Synchronize - Configuation Tab in Desktop Manager
I opened the Config Synchronize and ensured the Address book was checked
In Synchrozise I ensured I had Checked the option/Radio Synchronize Organiser Data and also Checked Automatic Synchronization
Closed each and did a Destop SYnc and it was all there...
