Default Sync BB contacts to Outlook

Please Login to Remove!

I've tried to run a few searches on this to no avail. I'm also somewhat of a noob on this forum stuff, but I hope to become much better, as the information on here is phenomenal.
So here are my questions, for years I've been inputting contacts on my phone, both via the sim as well as the internal memory. However recently I've started to use Outlook to manage my email and such on my PC. Is there a way to transfer my contact book from my BB to my PC? All the search results I get describe how to do it vice versa. Also, I use gmail to push to my blackberry and outlook. How can I sync so that if I've read the email on my blackberry it shows up as read in Outlook?
Thanks for all your help!!!

Wirelessly posted (8800: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8310/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Desktop Manager will sync all your contacts in your BlackBerry Address Book (not your sim card). On BIS you cannot sync messages to outlook.

Thanks JSanders!
I toyed around with the options in Desktop Manager and got all my contacts transferred to Outlook. I can now edit them much faster and easier!

So is there no way to sync Outlook so that it reflects changes I've made on my blackberry?

The BlackBerry 8310 & Bold sync perfectly with Outlook 2007. I do it almost daily without problems.

I use the USB cable and bluetooth

Try this!

Shut down Outlook.
Run Desktop Manager 4.5 or 4.6.
Run DM and connect your phone. Make sure you have a connection by checking your PIN at the bottom left of DM.
Select Synchronize and then Configuration Synchronize.
Now click the Synchronization button on the right.
Follow the Wizard and slect Outlook and wahtever else you feel is appropriate.
When you are finished it should work fine.

Hi Granpa, Synchronization configuration settings on 8100 with BIS using DM 4.5/4.6

Select , Configure synchronization settings for my desktop program
click on the Synchronization button.

You will have settings for Calendar, MemoPad, Address Book & Tasks, NOT Email.

You cannot Synchronize email to Outlook using BIS you need BES to connect to Exchange server to synchronize emails.

Thanks Cal.
