Default Duplicate Address's

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All.

I have searched and not found anything that helps me with the below issue.

Model: 8100 on WXP/4.2 OS(DST)/Lotus Notes 7.0.2. DTM 4.2.2/Bes 4.1.4

Issue: Duplicate entries on all entries.

Steps Taken thus Far: I have gone thru the LNotes Address Book, Made sure there are no duplicates.

After backing up the phone I have gone to advanced options and deleted the Address book. I checked it, All entries were gone.
I resynced the phone. All entries were back and again duplicated.

I checked the Options-> set to NOT allow duplicate names

Lotus notes address book and the contacts list both show the same amount of entries, Yet are full of duplicates....

There are no entries on the SIM card so there is nothing being called from here.

Someone please help me before I turn to progaine......

I am not too familiar with Lotus Notes, I see that you cleared your address book on the device. Have you tried removing yourself from the BES and then re-adding yourself back, wiping the device and then reactivating?

Cheers for that.

No I havent. But I had that one up my sleeve in case of emergency.

The only probis that this custmer is super busy, So getting the time and justifying it to her will be a pain.

Sadly I will have to try this.

Sorry I couldn't be of much more assistance. Report back here with your results. It could help a future reader.

On the server, open BES manager and search and select the user. Double click on the user and bring up the PIM settings. Scroll down, and let us know what the settings are.

Thanks

Cheers for this haps and Chapesses.

I have gone to the BES, Compared this user against others and nothing seems out of the ordinary.

Celeb: What specifically are you wishing to see please?
