It was a business version so it has all the setup software to work with an Enterprise Server, but it is not setup to do so. I can make and receive phone calls and text messages no problem. The Desktop Manager is up to date, and my computer recognizes the Pearl when it is connected by USB. However, I downloaded the Rogers-specific device drivers for my Pearl and I can't get them to load on. Is there something I'm doing wrong? The phone is fully unlocked and I've been to a handful of Rogers retailers in the city and they can't figure it out, though they haven't tried that hard. Some have the same problem I have, others can't even get their computers to recognize the Pearl when it's plugged in. Is there some further unlocking that needs to take place in order for the drivers to be installed on my phone? I want to get a data plan and what not, but I can't until I load the rogers drivers. Someone please help!
First off it should work just fine without changing the software if the phone is unlocked just pop in the SIM card. You install the new OS through Desktop Manager, What error are you getting?
